We will learn how to properly expose for a full moon that can be added to your digital library whenever you want to add one to your photo. We will photograph the skyline and Golden Gate Bridge from 2 different locations.

Going into San Francisco we will also photograph the Palace of Fine Arts with its marvelous reflections. The reconstruction is now completed and the entire structure is now fully illuminated. Perhaps we will catch the moon peaking out from behind a pillar. During a full moon it's not just about the actual moon; the ambient light it casts effects everything in your scene. Plus, it makes it much easier to see in the dark.

We then move to a SF pier for marvelous reflections of the GG Bridge on the sand and in the water. Back to Marin County and our last shot will be from the tourist overlook. This tour starts and ends in the Marin Headlands.

I advise carpooling into the city from Marin. Note: the official full moon is on the 28th but there will be no visible difference to us one day later.

You will learn to shoot low light photography with timed exposures and create stunning nighttime images. You will learn varied architectural perspectives, composition ideas, and many creative techniques. This tour is not recommended for a beginner. You should have a good working knowledge of your camera and know how to pull up your histogram.
