Fall color in the world famous Napa Valley - what could be better? For those of you who cannot attend our Fall Color Weekend in the Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys, we offer a one day event in Napa Valley.
October is the time to be in
Napa Valley in the middle of the crush (grape harvest) when the days are warm and the skies are blue and the air is filled with the aroma of wine. The white grape vines turn golden and the red wine grapes produce
brilliant shades of red, russet and burgundy along with clusters of succulent purple and yellow grapes. We will practice our close up skills as we use reflectors to illuminate the grapes.
Don't be surprised to see a few hot air balloons silently gliding by overhead.
We will photograph picturesque wineries, pond reflections, a lake with red Japanese pagodas and bridges along with graceful swans swimming by, and many panoramic vistas of rolling hills with graphic patterns and gnarled old grape vines.
This will be a full day starting in Napa early morning and finishing in the afternoon. Pack your lunch and we will have a picnic at one of the beautiful wineries overlooking Napa Valley and perhaps have a glass of world famous Napa Valley wine.
Come join the fun during the most colorful season in the wine country!
