Spend a glorious day learning to creatively photograph flowers in San Francisco. You will be using macro and telephoto lenses to capture your images.
You will learn creative techniques such as multiple exposures, differential focusing, panning, finding abstract patterns, use of reflective mylar and zooming. Dahlias are wonderful photographic subjects as they are tall and do not involve working at ground level as with other flowers.
We will meet in Golden Gate Park at a fabulous Dahlia garden, along with colorful flower beds and a display of many different kinds of cacti and succulents nearby. From there we will photograph indoors at the Conservatory with its tropical gardens, water lily pond, and the featured exhibit of the day.
Come join us on our creative "FLOWER POWER" day.
